Information we use

We use votes, comments, reports, person suggestions, an anonymous ID made with a cookie, the IP address used to post a comment, and contact details sent to us. We do not use IP addresses to decide whether a vote is allowed.

Why we use it

• To prevent repeat votes and count results
• To show and review comments
• To prevent abuse and spam
• To handle rights and legal requests
• To improve the service

How long we keep it

We keep comment IP addresses for 90 days to handle rights requests, prevent abuse, and respond to legal requests. We then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Anonymous IDs used for votes and comments are made from a cookie ID and a secret value. Cloudflare and other service logs follow their own settings and retention periods.

Sharing information

We do not share personal information for unrelated purposes unless the law allows or requires it.

Service providers

This service may use Cloudflare D1, Workers, Turnstile, and other services. We will update this section to match the services in use.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits and page views and improve the service. It uses cookies. We do not send comment text or information entered in contact forms. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Google Privacy Policy
